The things they are doing to me. Robb was always my favourite male character, and Richard Madden is a perfect cast choice (and hot as hell, he is ginger *____*). Because Jeyne is, well, bleh (she wouldn't survive the North, couldn't even understand their ways), I'm kinda shipping him with Asha Greyjoy or Dacey Mormont. And with Jon of course.
Robb/Jon is fascinating. They are half brothers, and one of them is the heir of the North, with his future kinda set in stone (it's a sad thinig, living without a right to choose your own way of life). They're living in a world where incest is a crime, love for another man probably too, and people of the North are really close-minded in this kind of things (even the wildlings think of incest as a crime against the gods!). Also, Jon is a bastard, a lucky one, but still a bastard. Every time I read or watch the scene of their goodbye, I'm like: Fuck you, Martin (I actually told him I hate him for Robb during the book signing), there is no the next time, no soon enough for them, this is the last time they will see each other, and for the next five books Jon will think about the last memory of his brother alive, those fucking snowflakes melting in Robb's auburn hair (The Young Wolf, kissed by fire and still not lucky enough) - three times in DwD alone, yes, I'm counting. And the scene from the third book with Jon thinking about having a son for his own, named Robb. And Robb naming Jon his heir... And then I am crying ball of angst writing even more angsty things nobody will ever see (thank God).
So you know, people like me need people like you, writing for us happy things. Or, well, angsty things. Let's stop at writing things.
